Shalimar Glass Arts Handicrafts

Shalimar Glass Arts Handicrafts is our little place on Pali Road. We are situated right opposite Prajapat Mandir, which is a very well-known spot near Jhalamand Circle. Having the temple right across from us is nice; it keeps the area lively. We work with glass and various handicraft items every day. It’s a delicate job, and yes, things do break sometimes, which is just part of the process. Our workshop is usually covered in a bit of dust and small glass shards, so we have to be careful where we step. We’ve been here for a good amount of time now. Most people around Pali Road know where we are located. We don't do much in the way of fancy marketing or social media. We just put our items out and let people see them for themselves. The sun hits the glass in the front window in the mornings and makes the whole place sparkle for a bit. We enjoy the craft, even though it’s tiring on the eyes after working for a few hours. It’s just a few of us here, doing the cutting and the shaping. We aren't trying to be a massive export house; we just like making things that people want to put in their homes. If you’re driving toward Jhalamand Circle, look for the temple and you’ll see us right across the street. We’re usually there from morning until late evening, just keeping at it. It is a steady way to live and work.
