Naresh Hair Style

It gets really hot here in Jodhpur, especially during the afternoons on Soor Sagar Road. I run Naresh Hair Style, and most days are just a cycle of opening the shutters and cleaning up the hair from the day before. The shop is right near Kaylana Circle, so we get a fair amount of people coming and going. It’s not a very big place, just enough room for a few chairs and a wooden bench for people to sit on while they wait their turn. I’ve been working here for a long time now. The mirrors have a few scratches, and the fans make a bit of noise, but they keep the air moving at least. Some customers come from quite far away, and others just live around the corner in the 342003 area. We talk about the weather or the local news while I work. It’s a simple life. I don't really do anything fancy with the hair, just what people ask for when they sit down. Sometimes the water runs a bit low, or the street outside gets too crowded with bikes and cows. That's just how things are on Soor Sagar Road. I like being near the circle because there is always something to look at through the window. It’s just a normal hair shop for normal people. I don't use any of those expensive products you see in the city. Just the basic stuff that works for us.
