Nand Kishore Mehta

I am Nand Kishore Mehta and you can find me over at Mahanpura 13. I’ve lived in this neighborhood for most of my life, so setting up my business here just made sense. The office is really just an extension of my daily life. It’s a simple space with a couple of tables and a very old ceiling fan that squeaks a bit when it’s on the highest setting. I keep a lot of books on the shelves, mostly because I like to have them around for reference. People in Mahanpura know me pretty well, so I don't have to do much to get the word out. They just drop by when they have something they need help with. It’s a very informal way of doing things, but it has worked for me for a long time. I don't like all those corporate rules and fancy language you see nowadays. I just speak plainly and expect the same from others. We usually close up around six in the evening so I can go home and spend time with my family. Sometimes, if the work is heavy, I’ll stay late and have some dinner brought in. It’s a quiet life for the most part. The house at number 13 is always open to anyone who needs to discuss business. We don't make a big deal out of it, we just do what needs to be done each day.
