D P Songara Associates

You can find us over on Pal Link Road in Vivekanand Nagar. We’re at number 103 04. It’s a busy stretch of road, so there’s always something to look at out the window. D P Songara Associates has been operating from here for a good bit now. The office isn't very large, but it fits what we need. We have some desks, a couple of filing cabinets, and a very old coffee machine that makes a lot of noise but still works. The area has grown a lot since we first moved in. There are more shops now and the traffic is definitely heavier. I spend a lot of my time on the phone or talking to people who drop by. We don’t have any polished scripts or corporate rules. We just talk to people like they are our neighbors, because usually they are. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit and wait for it to come back, talking about whatever is on our minds. It’s a very grounded way to work. We don't have a mission statement or any of that stuff. We just come in, do the work that needs doing, and go home to our families. The floor is a bit uneven in the corner, but you learn to walk around it. It’s a real place with real people just trying to get through the week.
