Mukul Art & Crafts

Out here in Basni Iind Phase, things are pretty industrial. Mukul Art & Crafts is located at F-630 on Street No.9, which is a bit of a trek if you aren't used to this part of town. It’s a place where things are actually made by hand. You’ll hear the sound of tools and the smell of whatever we’re working on—maybe wood, maybe metal, it depends on the day. The workshop is usually a bit dusty because that’s just the nature of making things. We don’t have a fancy front office; we just have the space where the work gets done. Most of the people here have calloused hands and a lot of patience. We make various items that people seem to like for their homes or shops. It’s not a fast process, and we don’t try to make it one. We just take the raw materials and turn them into something else. Street No.9 can get a bit busy with trucks moving in and out, but we just stay focused on what’s on the workbench. It’s a simple way to earn a living. We’ve been here at F-630 for a while, and we know most of the other workshop owners around us. If someone needs something done with a bit of care, they usually find their way to our door. We don’t do much talking; we just let the items we make speak for themselves.
