Ajanta Solvents

Ajanta Solvents is over on Road No. 10 in Basni Phase II. We are at number 57 in Udyog Nagar, Jodhpur. It’s a busy industrial zone. We deal with various solvents every day. The drums are always being moved around. It can get pretty hot here in Rajasthan, and the smell of the shop is very distinct. We wear our work clothes and just get on with it. It’s not a clean office job. We have spills to clean and trucks to load constantly. We've been at this address for quite some time. The neighborhood is full of other factories and warehouses. We know the guys next door. Most of our work is just filling orders and checking the containers. We don't have a marketing department. If you need solvents, you usually know where to find us in Basni. Sometimes the dust from the road gets into everything, so we’re always sweeping up. It’s a basic operation. We don't try to be something we aren't. We just provide what the local industry needs. The work is repetitive but it’s what we know how to do. We keep the records in a ledger and the machines running as long as they let us. It’s just us doing our thing in Jodhpur. Most evenings we're just tired and ready to get home away from the heat and the chemical smells. It's just life in the Udyog Nagar area.
