Mahadev Metals

Mahadev Metals is located in the old part of the city, specifically at Upparla Bas. It is near Hathi Ram Ka Oda and inside Merti Gate. If you know the area, you know it is full of narrow lanes and a lot of history. We work with metals here. It is what we have been doing for quite some time. The shop isn't very large, but we have everything we need to do the job. The sounds of metal hitting metal are pretty much the soundtrack to our day. It gets hot in the summer, especially with the sun hitting the old stone walls around here, but you get used to it after a few years. We aren't trying to be some big corporate entity. We are just local people working in a local trade. Most of our day is spent handling raw materials or finished pieces. Sometimes locals stop by just to chat or ask about a small repair. It’s a tight-knit spot near Merti Gate. We don't have a website or anything like that, just the shop where people can find us if they need something made or fixed. The work is hard on the hands and the back, but it feels good to see a finished product at the end of the day. We just open up in the morning and see what the day brings us.
