Madan Iron World

Down in Shastri Nagar, you’ll find us at C-96. Madan Iron World is exactly what it sounds like. We have piles of iron and metal everywhere you look. It’s heavy work and it gets our hands dirty. We’ve been in this spot for a long time. The building is old, but it does the job. We don’t have air conditioning in the main workshop, so it gets pretty hot during the summer months. We just drink plenty of water and keep moving. There’s always the sound of metal hitting metal. It’s a busy neighborhood, and people are always stopping by to ask about this or that. We don't have a salesperson. You just talk to whoever is working. We do a lot of cutting and basic fabrication. It’s not delicate work, but it requires a lot of muscle. Sometimes the supply trucks have a hard time navigating the narrow streets around Shastri Nagar, but we’re used to it. We don't have a logo or a fancy uniform. We just wear what we don't mind getting grease on. We stay busy from morning until evening. It’s a practical way to earn a living, and we’ve been doing it this way for as long as I can remember. It’s just us and the iron. We don't make it complicated. We just do the job and go home. Every day brings a new set of rails or frames to work on.
