Maajid Creation

You can find us over at Bakra Mandi on Chand Pole Road. It’s a lively area, to say the least. Maajid Creation has been here for a while now, right in the thick of the market activity. The noise from the street is something you just get used to after a week or two. We handle all the work ourselves in a small workshop space. It’s usually got bits of material and tools scattered around because we are always in the middle of making something. People walk by all day, and sometimes they pop their heads in to see what we’re up to. We don’t really do any advertising or anything like that. Most of the people who come to Maajid Creation heard about us from a friend or just saw us while they were out at the Mandi. It’s a very hands-on kind of life. Some days are slow and we just sit and drink tea, while other days we are working late into the evening to get things finished. The building is old and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it works for what we need. It’s an honest way to spend the day. Chand Pole Road is always full of life, and we like being right in the middle of it all. There is always something happening outside our door to keep things interesting.
