Maa Santoshi Hair Salon

I’ve been running Maa Santoshi Hair Salon for a while now. We are right on Banar Road in Jodhpur, just across from the Ajmer Lines Gate. If you know the area, we are basically next to Ganesh Hotel. It’s a busy spot with lots of people moving around, especially with the gate right there. Inside, things are pretty basic. We have the usual chairs and mirrors, and the floor gets covered in hair pretty fast on Saturdays. I try to keep the place tidy, but when it’s busy, it’s busy. Most people who come in live around here or work nearby. They just want a quick trim or a shave before heading home. It gets quite hot in Jodhpur, so we keep the fans going all day. Sometimes the light flickers, but we make it work. I started this place because I know how to cut hair and I wanted to stay in my own neighborhood. It’s not a fancy shop with air conditioning or coffee, but we have a small bench if you need to wait. Most of the time, neighbors just stop by to say hello or check the time. We use the same tools I’ve had for years. They work fine. If you’re passing by Banar Road and see the Ganesh Hotel, you’ll find us easily. It’s just a local shop for local people, nothing more than that. I open up early and stay until the sun goes down.
