If you are near the Rto Office in Gulab Nagar, you will find Maa Kuldevi Hair Salon. We are right there in Bjs Colony. Jodhpur is a big city but this corner feels like a small village sometimes. Everyone knows each other here. I’ve been working at this shop since I was young. It’s not a big fancy place with air conditioning and stuff. We just have the ceiling fans and open doors. The sun hits the front of the shop in the afternoon. We do haircuts for men and boys. Most of our customers come from the nearby houses. We use traditional razors for shaves. We keep them sharp. You just show up and wait your turn. It’s the way we’ve always done it. The area 342006 has changed a lot, with more buildings coming up, but our salon stays the same. We like it that way.
