Maa Gayatri Steel

Maa Gayatri Steel is tucked away in Guljar Bagh, right by the Old City Court. It’s an old part of the city with narrow streets and a lot of history, though the traffic can be a real pain sometimes. Being near the court means there are always people moving around, which keeps things interesting for us. We deal in steel, mostly basic stuff that people need for building or repairs. Our space is filled with stacks of metal and it can get a bit cramped when a new load arrives. We don’t have a fancy office with air conditioning; we just have our desk and the warehouse area where all the steel is kept. It’s a bit dusty and the noise from the street sometimes drifts inside, but we’re used to it by now. We’ve known many of our customers for years because they live or work right here in Guljar Bagh. They stop by to see what we have in stock or just to talk about a project they’re thinking of starting. We don't spend money on big ads because we'd rather just keep our prices fair for the locals. It’s a small operation, really. Just a few of us making sure the orders are right and the steel gets where it needs to go. If you are in the Old City area, you’ll find us there doing our thing every day. It’s not a glamorous job, but steel is something everyone needs eventually and we like being here.
