Laxman Handicrafts

Our workshop is tucked away at 23/2 in the Heavy Industrial Area. It’s a place where there is always some kind of noise, whether it is a truck backing up or the sound of metal hitting something. The roads around here are pretty rough because of all the heavy loads going back and forth every day. Our building is a simple one with high ceilings and a big metal door that stays open during the day to let some air in. It gets really hot in the summer, so we have these big industrial fans that don't do much besides move the warm air around. We have stacks of items waiting to be finished piled up against the walls. There isn't any fancy carpet or air conditioning in the front office, just a simple table and some chairs for when people stop by to talk about their orders. Most of our workers have been with us for a long time, so they just know what to do without being told. We go through a lot of water every day because of the heat. Sometimes we stay late when a big order needs to go out, and the whole area feels different at night when it’s finally dark. It is hard work, and your hands get dirty within five minutes of starting, but that is what we are used to doing.
