Kashyap Tours

Kashyap Tours is right at Shop Number 4 on Jawar Road, which connects to the main Chopasni Road. If you know where the G T F Office is, we are directly opposite to it. It’s a busy spot in Jodhpur 342003. Most days the noise from the street is constant but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We started this shop because people always needed a way to get around the city or go see the forts without having to worry about the local buses. The shop isn't very large, just enough room for a desk and a couple of chairs for people to sit while we talk about their travel plans. We keep a lot of old city maps around because even with phones, some things are better on paper. My cousin helps out sometimes when it gets busy during the wedding season because that is when everyone wants a car at the same time. We don't do much advertising because most people just see the sign while they are heading to the GTF office or walking down Chopasni Road. It’s a straightforward business. We tell you what we have, you tell us where you want to go, and we try to make it work. Sometimes we share a samosa from the guy down the street while waiting for the next person to walk in. It’s just how things go here in this part of town.
