Our place, K B Holidays, is located at Plot Number 14 in the Roop Nagar-D area of Digadi. It’s a bit of a walk from the main road but most people find us because we are near Marwar Secondary School. You can see the kids heading to class in the mornings while we are opening up. The office is on Khasra Number 162. It’s a quiet part of Jodhpur compared to the main market area. We spend most of our time looking at maps or talking to drivers about their schedules. Running a travel business in a place like Digadi means you get to know all the neighbors. Sometimes people just stop by to ask for directions or see if we have any new ideas for a weekend trip. We don't use any fancy computer systems for everything, a lot of it is just written down in our big books. The weather here can be tough on the vehicles so we spend a lot of time making sure they are running right before anyone takes them out. It isn't a big corporate office with matching uniforms or anything like that. We just wear what is comfortable and get the work done. If the school is having a function, the whole street gets blocked with bikes, so we usually tell people to come a bit early or later in the afternoon. It is a decent spot to work from and we’ve been here long enough that the postman knows exactly where to drop our mail.
