Jai Maa Bhawani Hair Saloon

We are situated on Air Force Road in Jodhpur, right near the Sardar Club. Because we are so close to the Air Force Area, we get a lot of men coming in who need to keep their hair short and tidy. It’s a busy part of the city with a lot of movement and the sound of planes every now and then. The shop is fairly basic. We have a row of mirrors and some shelves where we keep the talcum powder and the spray bottles. The chairs are usually full in the mornings and evenings when the shifts change. We don’t spend much time on small talk if there’s a line, but we try to be friendly. The floor is always covered in short, buzzed hair that we have to sweep away constantly. Jodhpur is a sunny place, and the light pours in through the front window, making it easy to see what we are doing. We’ve got a small radio that plays local songs, and the hum of the traffic outside is always there. The water we use for hair washes is kept in a tank out back. It’s a practical setup for a practical crowd. We’ve been at this location for a while now, and we know exactly how the local guys like their hair done. It’s not a fancy place, just a dependable one where you know what you’re getting.
