Id Salon sits right on 1St A Road in Sardarpura. If you know Jodhpur, you know how busy this area gets, especially with the Utkarsh Coaching Centre right across from us. There are always students walking around, talking about their classes or looking for a quick place to get their hair done between lectures. Our spot isn't huge, but we make the most of the space we have. The scissors are always moving and the hair dryers make a constant noise in the background. It’s a lively atmosphere most days. We get a mix of young students and older residents from around Sardarpura. Everyone wants something different, a new style they saw online or just a basic trim to look neat. The mirrors are big and we keep the lights bright so we can see what we're doing. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when three or four people walk in at once, but we just handle them one by one. The street outside is usually full of parked bikes and people rushing somewhere. We’ve been here long enough that we don't really notice the noise anymore. It’s just part of the daily routine on 1St A Road. We don’t do anything too fancy, just good old salon work for whoever walks through the door. It’s a decent way to spend the day, meeting new people and keeping the locals looking sharp.
