We've been working out of Shastri Nagar at C 103 for a while now. Dealing with ground water and surveys isn't always the easiest job, but it is what we do every day. Sometimes we are out in the field getting our boots muddy, and other times we are back here looking at maps. It started with just a couple of us wanting to figure out where the water was. Most of the time, people come to us when they need to know what's happening under the soil before they start building something new. We use the gear we have to get readings and then try to make sense of it all. It’s a lot of technical stuff, really. We don't have a fancy office or anything like that. It's just a functional space where we keep our equipment and write up the reports. People in the neighborhood probably see us loading up the trucks early in the morning. We try to keep things simple. If there's a problem with a site, we look into it. There’s no point in making it sound more complicated than it is. We just focus on the data we find. It’s quiet here mostly, unless the printers are running or someone is arguing about a survey line. We’ve seen the area change quite a bit over the years. Staying here in Shastri Nagar feels right because it’s where we got started and it’s easy for folks to find us when they need a hand with their land.
