Our consultancy is located at 5 A Brahm Bagh, near the Jalori Gate in Jodhpur. If you know that area of Rajasthan, you know it can get incredibly hot in the summers. We have a couple of desert coolers running in the office to keep things comfortable while we work. The space is a bit old-fashioned with high ceilings and heavy wooden doors. We spend most of our time helping local businesses find staff, whether it's for a shop or an office. Jodhpur is a place where everyone knows everyone, so a lot of our work comes from word of mouth. We sit at our desks and go through the local applications that people drop off. Sometimes we have to call people back several times because the signal in the old city can be a bit spotty. It’s a straightforward business. We don't have a website with a lot of bells and whistles. We just use our phones and our folders. Around four in the afternoon, we usually stop for some tea and snacks from the vendor down the street. It’s a good way to take a break from the computer screens. People walk in and out all day asking about work, and we do what we can to point them in the right direction. It’s just how things are done here in Brahm Bagh. We keep it simple and honest. Not much more to say than that.
