Our shop is number six, right there in Pal Haweli. Being near Gulab Sagar is great because there is always something happening outside. It is a very old part of Jodhpur, so the streets are narrow and you see all kinds of people passing by every hour. We do tours and travels, mostly helping folks see the sights around Rajasthan or getting them a car for the day. The office isn't very big, but it serves its purpose. We have maps and some old photos on the walls. Most of our work involves talking to tourists who are staying nearby or locals who need a ride to the station. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy with the traffic and the bells from the temples, but that is just how life is in Gulab Sagar. We try to keep things simple here. No one wants a complicated conversation when they are just trying to get from one city to another. We write down the details, check the car schedule, and make sure the driver knows where he is going. It is a local business and we know the roads around here like the back of our hands. If you are walking near the water or the haveli, you will probably see our sign. We are usually around from morning until late evening, just taking care of the daily bookings and chatting with the neighbors while we wait for the next call that comes through.
