We are based out in the Basni Second Phase of the MIA industrial area. Our unit is G-121(b). It is a very industrial part of town, so there are always trucks moving in and out and the sound of manufacturing everywhere you turn. The sun really beats down on this part of the city, so the warehouse can get pretty warm by midday. We have a regular crew that comes in to handle the production and the packing. It’s mostly just focused work. We don’t have much in the way of decoration; the walls are plain and we use every bit of floor space for materials and finished goods. There is always a lot of dust because of the industrial activities nearby, so we spend a fair bit of time just trying to keep things clean enough to work. Our day-to-day is about managing the floor and making sure we are keeping up with the schedule. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. We usually take our breaks together and talk about the local news or the traffic on the way in. It’s just a standard industrial unit where people work hard and go home tired. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We just show up and do the work that needs doing in Basni. It’s a loud place but we are used to it.
