Daoukiya Travels

Daoukiya Travels is located at 12 V Road, which is right on Pal Road here in Jodhpur. We are situated directly opposite the Varg Attula Khan Stadium. If there is a cricket match or any big gathering at the stadium, our whole street gets packed with people and cars. It makes for a very lively place to work. Our office is pretty basic, just a counter and some benches where we sit and wait for customers. We have a handful of cars and a few drivers who have been with us for years. Pal Road is a major artery for the city, so there is always a lot of dust and noise from the passing trucks and buses. We don't have a website or a fancy logo. We just have our name on a board outside. I spend most of my time coordinating with the drivers and making sure the cars are fueled up and ready to go. Sometimes a driver doesn't show up on time, and I have to jump in the car myself to make the trip. That’s just how it goes when you run a small local travel business. We don't make big promises, we just try to get you to your destination safely. Most of our customers are locals who need to go to the train station or out to a wedding in a nearby village. It’s hard work, but it keeps us busy. We usually keep some cold water in the fridge for anyone who stops by.
