You can find us over at E-230 on 6th Road in the Basni Phase-II area. It’s right in the middle of the hub, so there is always a lot of movement on this street. Our gate is usually wide open because there is always something being loaded or unloaded. Inside, the space is divided into different sections for storage and some basic processing. It’s a bit dim inside, but we prefer it that way to keep the heat down during the summer months. I keep my ledger on a metal desk that has been here since the business started. We don't bother with much decor because the walls are mostly covered with calendars and inventory lists. The afternoon tea break is the highlight of the day for most of us. We sit near the entrance to catch whatever breeze there is. We deal with all sorts of people, from local suppliers to the guys who handle the big export containers. Every day has its own set of small problems to solve, like a broken strap or a delayed truck. We don't use any fancy language to describe what we do. We just make sure the goods are where they are supposed to be. It’s a busy life, but it’s what we know. We’ve been on 6th Road for years and plan to stay here.
