Bhawani Singh

Down on Katla Bazar Main Road, that's where I spend most of my time. It's a busy street, always something happening outside the door. I started this a while back because it seemed like the right thing to do in this part of town. People walk by all day, and sometimes they stop in for a chat or to see what’s going on. It is not a huge place, but it serves its purpose. I handle most of the things myself. You might see me moving stuff around or just sitting at the counter waiting for the next person to come in. The shop is simple. I don't see the point in making it look like those big city stores. It has what is needed and nothing more. The main road can be loud with the bikes and the vendors, but I have gotten used to it over the years. Some days are busier than others, especially when the market is full. I try to keep things honest and straightforward here. If I can help, I do. If not, I tell you. That is how Bhawani Singh operates. It’s just me and the daily routine. Nothing too complicated about it. The weather gets hot in the summer, but we have a fan that keeps the air moving enough. It is a basic setup, really. Just a man and his work on Katla Bazar. This is just a regular spot for regular needs.
