Bhati Hair Saloon

Bhati Hair Saloon is located on New Pali Road in Jodhpur. We are pretty close to Cambridge School, so we get a lot of students and parents passing by our windows. The road outside is always full of cars and motorcycles. Inside the shop, things are a bit quieter. We have four chairs lined up and a long counter with all our equipment. There are jars of hair gel and different types of combs scattered around. The floor is made of stone and it stays cool even when it’s hot outside. We’ve got a routine here that starts at eight in the morning. We sharpen the razors and get the capes ready. It’s just honest work. We talk to the customers about the weather or the local news while we trim their hair. Sometimes the school kids come in for a quick cut after their classes are over. We keep a bucket of water and some spray bottles handy. The lighting isn't the best, but we've worked here long enough to know where everything is by touch. It’s a basic setup at Bhati Hair Saloon. We don't have a big sign or anything, just the name on the door. It’s a place where you can sit down for twenty minutes and leave looking a bit better than when you walked in. It is just our everyday business.
