Bhagya Laxmi Beauty Salon

We are located at Plot No. 727 B on 1st B Road in Sardarpura. This part of Jodhpur is always bustling, especially being so close to National Handloom. Most people know the landmark, so finding us isn't too hard. Bhagya Laxmi Beauty Salon is just a modest place where women from around here come to get their basic things done. We don't have a fancy reception or a big waiting lounge with magazines. It’s mostly just a few chairs and some mirrors. I started this because I liked working with people in the neighborhood. We do threading, some basic hair cutting, and maybe some skin stuff if someone asks for it. The walls are painted a simple color and we try to keep things organized, even when it gets a bit crowded on festival days or during the wedding season. It gets quite loud outside with all the traffic, but inside we just focus on the work. My regulars are like friends now; we know about their kids and what’s happening in their families. We use standard products that everyone knows. There’s no big secret to what we do. It’s just steady work and making sure people leave feeling a little better than when they walked in. The tea guy from across the street brings us chai twice a day, and that’s usually when we take a short break to sit for a minute.
