Basant

Basant has been at 175-A, Circuit House Road for a good while now. It’s a busy spot and we spend most of our mornings just sorting through things that came in the day before. The building itself isn’t anything fancy, just a solid place where we get the work done. You can usually find a couple of us out front near the gate when the tea man comes around at eleven. The office inside gets a bit cramped because we keep a lot of samples and old files tucked away in the corners. We do a lot of back-and-forth on the phone and some paperwork that seems to never end. Some days are quieter than others, especially when the weather gets really heavy and nobody wants to be out on the road. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years, but we’re still here doing the same things every day. It’s mostly just making sure things are packed right and sent off to wherever they need to go. We don't have a big fancy showroom or anything like that, just the workspace and the storage area in the back. It gets dusty, but that’s just how it is when you’re working with these kinds of materials all day long. If you walk past the school nearby, you’ll probably hear the noise from our end of the street. It's just a regular local business trying to stay on top of the daily list.
