We are over by Gulab Sagar, very close to the Pal Haveli. It is a beautiful part of Jodhpur, though the streets can be a bit of a maze if you aren't from around here. We do a mix of things, mostly foreign exchange and planning tours for people visiting the city. Dealing with different currencies means we are always checking the rates and making sure we have enough cash on hand. It’s a small office, typical for this part of the old city. We have a counter where people come to change their money or ask about the best way to see the fort. The atmosphere is very local; you hear the street noise and the people talking outside. We don't have a big corporate team, just a few of us who know the area well. Sometimes we have to explain the exchange rates or help someone figure out their travel route on a map. It is practical work. People come in, get what they need, and head back out into the heat. We like being near the Haveli because it brings in a lot of travelers. Our goal is just to handle the transactions and the bookings correctly so there aren't any problems later. It is a simple business run by people who live right here in Jodhpur and understand how things work in this part of town.
