Ashok Hair Saloon

If you are on Chopasni Road in Jodhpur, you will find us near the Jiwanjoti Hospital. It is a busy road with a lot of cars and bikes going past all the time. Our saloon is a small place but it has been around for quite a while. We have the usual setup with a couple of chairs and a shelf for the razors and creams. Because the hospital is so close, we often get people who are visiting or working there. We do a lot of shaves and head massages, which people seem to like after a long day. The walls are painted a simple blue and we have some posters of different hairstyles, though most people just ask for a short cut. It is dusty in Jodhpur, so we have to wipe the mirrors multiple times a day. I work here with one other person. We start the day by cleaning the floor and setting out the towels. There is nothing fancy about our shop, it is just a place for men to get their hair cut and have a bit of a chat. We don't bother with fancy names or big marketing. People know where we are and they know what to expect when they walk in. It is just a regular part of life on Chopasni Road for us and our customers.
