Ashok Hair & Beauty Parlour

We are located in the Bhadavasiya area of Jodhpur, right near the Indian Bank. It’s a good landmark for people trying to find us for the first time. We’ve been cutting hair and doing basic beauty stuff here for quite a while. The shop is small, but we make it work. We have separate sections for different things, though it's all in the same room really. The mirrors are large and we try to keep the lighting bright so we can see what we are doing. In Jodhpur, everyone wants to look sharp for weddings and festivals, so we stay pretty busy during those times. The rest of the year, it’s just the usual daily haircuts and shaves. We don't use any fancy products, just the standard stuff you find in most local shops. The chairs are a bit old, but they tilt back fine for a shave. We take pride in keeping our scissors sharp. Sometimes it gets a little loud with the traffic from the main road, but once you’re in the chair, it’s not so bad. We know a lot of the families around Bhadavasiya because they’ve been coming to us since their kids were small. It’s nice to see the neighborhood grow. We just do our work, keep the place tidy, and try to be fair with everyone who walks through the door. It’s a simple business.
