Anjani Chemicals

You can find Anjani Chemicals right at Subhash Chowk on Station Road. Because we are so close to the station, there is a constant sound of train whistles and people rushing to catch their rides. The traffic at the chowk can get pretty chaotic, especially in the evenings when everyone is trying to get home at the same time. Our shop is right in the thick of it. We have a heavy rolling shutter that we pull up every morning at nine. The interior is mostly just shelves and a few heavy tables where we pack things up. It’s a bit cramped because we try to keep as much as possible on hand. I usually have my lunch sitting right at the counter while watching the people go by outside. It’s a good spot for people-watching if you have a spare minute. The walls are covered in old calendars and a few notes we scribbled down months ago. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles here. It’s just a place of business where we work hard and try to stay organized despite the mess. Most of our customers are locals who have been coming to this part of Station Road for years. We know the tea seller across the street and the guy who fixes the rickshaws. It’s a community, and we are just glad to have our small place in the middle of it all.
