Ajm Softwares Private Limited is situated on the 3rd floor of Manak Tower, right on 9th D Road in Sardarpura. Jodhpur is a hot place, and Sardarpura is one of the busiest areas you can find here. Being on the third floor gives us a bit of a distance from the noise of the street, but you can still hear the horns honking during rush hour. The office is pretty basic. We have rows of desks and some old cabinets filled with files we probably don't need anymore. Working in software means we are glued to our screens for most of the day. We have a small group of people who have been with us for a while. Lunchtime is when it gets loud because everyone starts talking at once about their families or the local cricket scores. We usually order in or bring food from home. The elevator in the building sometimes has a mind of its own, so we end up taking the stairs quite often. It’s good exercise, I guess. We don’t have a big sign out front, just a small one near the door. The walls are painted a simple white, and we have a few plants that we occasionally forget to water. It’s a real place with real people who just happen to know a lot about computers. We like the neighborhood because everything you need is nearby.
