We started this computer center a while back right here in Akl Bhawan. Most people around here know where the Shiv Mandi is or the Central School, so we are pretty easy to find. It’s a busy spot in the Airforce Scheme area. We teach kids and adults how to use computers. It isn't anything fancy. We have a couple of rooms with some monitors and chairs. We show people how to use software and how to type properly. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow, but we get through the lessons anyway. People come in when they have time after their school or work is over. We stay open late most days because that's when everyone is finally free to visit. It's just a local place where you can learn the basics. We don't have a big front office or anything like that, just the lab where the actual work happens. It gets a bit noisy when the classes are full, especially since the school is right across the street. We’ve been at this address for a long time now. You just look for the sign near the temple. Most of our students live nearby in the neighborhood. We try to keep things simple and explain stuff in plain language. If you need to learn Excel or just how to turn on a PC, we’re here. The desks are a bit old but they do the job. Sometimes we have tea while waiting for things to load.
