Aanand Hair Saloon

Aanand Hair Saloon is right there by the Indra Gandhi Circle in Bhopalgarh. Living in Jodhpur, you know how the dust gets everywhere, so people come in here quite often to get cleaned up. It’s a straightforward shop. We’ve got the usual stuff, a few chairs, sharp scissors, and some spray bottles. I started this place because I liked working with my hands. It’s not a big fancy studio with air conditioning that freezes you out. We just use the ceiling fans and keep the door open to see who’s passing by the circle. Most of the men around here are regulars. They come in once a month, sit in the same chair, and talk about the crops or the local politics. It’s a noisy, friendly kind of place. Sometimes the children are running around outside and we have to tell them to settle down. I keep my tools sharp and my towels as clean as I can manage. It’s hard work standing all day, but when I see a customer look in the mirror and nod, I feel okay about it. Jodhpur is a busy place, but here inside the saloon, things move at a steady pace. We don't rush anyone out. If you need a shave or just a trim, you can find us easily near the circle. It’s just me and the guys working, doing what we know how to do best.
