A Maharaja Holiday

You can find A Maharaja Holiday over at House Number 51 on Airport Road. We are in the Ratanada part of Jodhpur, very close to Park Plaza. Being on the road to the airport means we see a lot of people coming and going at all hours. Our office is just a regular room we’ve fixed up to handle our travel bookings. It’s not a corporate headquarters or anything like that, just a local spot where we keep our files and meet with our drivers. I spend a lot of my time looking at the flight schedules to make sure we aren't late for a pickup. The traffic on Airport Road can be unpredictable, especially when there’s a VIP moving through or just the usual rush hour. We have a few cars and we try our best to keep them clean, though the dust in Jodhpur makes that a daily battle. My wife helps with the accounts in the evenings when things quiet down a bit. We don’t really do big advertisements; we just rely on people finding us because we’re in a good location. Sometimes we have to deal with broken-down ACs or flat tires, which can be a headache, but that’s just the nature of the work. We just want to provide a decent ride for anyone who stops by. It’s a straightforward business and we take it one day at a time. Usually, we are here until the last flight of the night comes in.
