Shri Swaroop Public School

If you wander into Shekhawat Colony over in Bagar, you’ll find us easily enough in Pahadi Mohalla. Shri Swaroop Public School has been part of this Jhunjhunu neighborhood for years. It’s a quiet area mostly, though it gets a bit loud when the kids arrive in the morning. We have a modest setup here. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but the classrooms are filled with students from the surrounding houses. People around here know the staff by name. We spend a lot of time just making sure the kids are actually in their seats. The sun hits the courtyard pretty hard in the afternoons, so everyone looks for shade. It’s a simple school. We aren’t trying to be anything we aren’t. Most of the parents work nearby and they just want a place that’s close to home for their children. Sometimes we have small events, but mostly it’s just the usual routine of lessons and lunch breaks. We deal with the typical Rajasthan heat during the summer months, which can be tough. The street outside is narrow, so it gets crowded. We just focus on the basics here. No big frills or expensive gadgets, just books and blackboards. If you live in this part of 333023, you’ve probably walked past our gate a hundred times. We just keep things running as best as we can every day.
