Shiva Stone Industries

We are located out in Gora Mathiya, which is part of Badagaon. Our place is near the Shankar Ji Mandir, so it’s easy to tell people where to go. Shiva Stone Industries is a dusty place, as you can imagine with stone work. We spend our days cutting and moving heavy blocks. It’s tough on the hands and the back. The local Thane area is where most of our work happens. We don't have a big office or a reception desk. Usually, if you come by, you’ll find us out back with the machines. The noise is constant, but you stop noticing it after a few years. We started this because there was a need for stone work around here. It’s not something we do to get rich, it’s just our trade. We have a small team and we all know what needs to be done. Sometimes the weather makes it hard to work outside, especially during the heavy rains. We just wait it out and get back to it when we can. The temple nearby gives a bit of peace to the area, which is nice when we take our breaks. We don't do any big advertising or anything. People usually just hear about us from their neighbors. We just try to do the job right and keep the yard organized, even though it’s a constant struggle with all the debris.
