Jaiswal Granite

We have been set up here at Village Goramachiya for a good while now. Our place is right on Kanpur Road, at numbers 618 and 619. Most days it’s just us moving heavy slabs around and making sure things are where they need to be. It gets pretty dusty out here, especially when the wind picks up off the main road, but that is just how it is when you deal with granite. We started small and just kept adding more stock as we went along. The yard is usually full of different colors and types of stone. People from around the area drop by to see what we have in the back. Sometimes the trucks arrive late and we have to stay after dark to get them unloaded, which isn't fun but it's part of the job. We don’t have fancy showrooms or anything like that. It’s just a practical spot where we keep the materials. The staff knows how to handle the heavy lifting without making a big fuss. If you drive past the village on the way to the city, you can't really miss us. We try to keep things organized but with stone, it's always a bit of a mess. My desk is usually covered in papers and stone dust most of the time. We just focus on getting the slabs out to whoever needs them and keeping the yard running for the locals who need stone.
