You’ll find Ashish Building Material right on Varanasi Road in Mariahu. We’re located near the Aloft Dale Sec School, which is a good landmark if you’re trying to find us. We’ve been supplying building materials to the folks around here for a while. The yard is usually full of bricks, sand, and cement bags. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes, but that’s the nature of this business. We don’t have a fancy showroom. Most of our business happens right there on the road or in the small office shed we have. It gets pretty hot during the summer, and the dust from the cement can be a bit much, but we don't mind. We’re just a small crew. We load the trucks and talk to the drivers. Mariahu is a growing place, so there’s always someone building something new. We like being part of that. We don’t use any complicated systems to track our inventory; we just know what’s out there in the piles. If we’re low on something, we get more in. We don’t do any advertising really. People just see our sign on Varanasi Road or they know us from the school nearby. We just want to provide what people need for their houses and keep things simple. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s steady and we’ve made a lot of friends in the area over the years.
