Chitrakonda Farmer Producer Company Limited

Our small group is called Chitrakonda Farmer Producer Company Limited. We are located at C/O- Subarao Bagadiatsariapali. It’s a humble spot, nothing like the big offices you see in the newspaper. We are just a group of local farmers who live and work in the Chitrakonda area. Most of our days are spent checking on the crops and making sure everything is moving along. We don't have any fancy equipment, just the basics and a lot of manual labor. Subarao Bagadi is the one who helps keep the paperwork in order at Tsariapali. We formed this company because it’s the only way to get a better price for what we grow in the fields. It’s not about being a big business; it’s about survival for us and our families. The sun is hot here and the work is never really finished. One season ends and we are already thinking about what to plant next. We don't have a lot of time for promotional talk or making things look better than they are. We just focus on the soil and the plants. If you ever find yourself in our part of Tsariapali, you’ll see we are just regular folks. We’ve had our share of bad harvests and good ones too. It’s just the rhythm of the farm life. We don't pretend to be anything we aren't. We are just farmers trying to work together to make life a little bit easier for everyone in the village. It's a tough way to live, but it's what we know.
