Shanti Kishan Janjgir Champa Farmer Producer Company Limited is situated at House Number 122 in Ward Number 07. We are right by Nawdha Chowk in the Bade Padarmuda area of Janjgir Champa. It is a community-led thing where a bunch of us farmers pooled our resources. We spend most of our time dealing with the reality of farming in this district. We aren't looking to become some massive global corporation. We just want to make sure the farmers in our group get a fair deal. Sometimes the phone line acts up, or the road near the chowk is blocked for a festival, and we just have to wait. It is not a polished business, but it is honest work. We have a few plastic chairs for guests and a big jug of water for anyone who stops by. We are just trying to keep the farming tradition going while making it work for everyone involved.
