Our company is called Green Jhajha Agro Producer Companylimited. We are based in the Sohjana area of Jhajha. Shailesh Kumar Mathuri is the one who helps us run everything from his place. Jhajha is a quiet town, and we are just local folks who decided to start something to help our farming community. We aren't professional businessmen with degrees. We are people who have had our hands in the dirt since we were children. We don't have any fancy marketing language or a big mission statement. We just meet up at Shailesh’s place and talk about what we need for the next season. Sometimes we talk about the price of fertilizer or which crops are doing well in the Sohjana soil. It’s not a very formal way of doing things, but it works for us. We don't have any big signs or a glossy office. It’s just us sitting around and making decisions for our small group of producers. Some days it’s hard to get things moved to the bigger markets, but we just keep trying. We’ve lived here all our lives, so we know the people and we know the land. We aren't making any big promises about changing the world. We just want to make sure the work we do in Jhajha is worth it for everyone involved. It’s just about farming and looking out for our neighbors. That is our way.
