Gammon India

Out here in Jamshedpur, specifically in Kadma, we’ve got this place at House Number 3 on Tank Road in Ulliyan. It’s a bit of a quiet spot compared to the main market areas. The house is old but it holds up. We spend most of our daylight hours here working through whatever pile of paperwork is on the table. Jamshedpur is a town built on hard work so we try to stick to that. It’s not a corporate office with a lobby or a receptionist. Usually, someone just shouts from the back if they hear the door. We have lived and worked around Jharkhand for a long time so we know how things go. The rain gets pretty heavy in the monsoon and the roof makes a lot of noise but we like it that way. It feels more like a home than a workplace sometimes. There are neighbors all around so you hear the sounds of families and kids playing while we are trying to finish our tasks. We don't have fancy furniture or new computers every year. We just use what we have until it breaks. It is a simple way of living and working. If you are looking for us, look for the house near the tank. It is just Gammon India in a regular house, nothing more to it than that.
