Rajlaxmi Metals P. Ltd. is based out of B 50 in Udyognagar, over in the Gidc Shankar Tekri area of Jamnagar. This part of town is full of metal shops and factories, so there's always a lot of noise and heat. We’ve been at this spot for years now. Most of the guys on the floor have been with us since they were young. We deal with various metal parts and scraps. It’s dirty work and your hands are rarely clean by the end of the shift. The office is just a small room partitioned off from the main workshop. It gets pretty hot in the summer, even with the fans going full blast. We don't have a website that looks professional or a sales team in suits. Usually, it's just the owner or one of the senior staff answering the phone. We spend a lot of time checking the quality of the brass and other metals we handle. If something isn't right, we have to start over. That’s just how it is. People in Jamnagar know us for being around for a long time. We don't do much advertising. Most of our work comes from people who have known us for decades. It's a steady life. We open early and close when the work is done. Sometimes we stay late if a big shipment needs to go out to another city.
