Ruchi Impex

Ruchi Impex is basically just us working through the daily grind in Phase-2 of the GIDC. We’ve been at Plot 224 for a good while now. It’s mostly a big warehouse space with a few desks tucked into a corner. It isn't much to look at, but it gets the job done for what we need. Dealing with shipping and orders takes up the bulk of our day here. Some days are quite slow and we just sit around talking, while others we can't seem to keep up with the phone ringing. The GIDC area is always pretty dusty and there’s a lot of noise from the trucks coming and going. We manage all the paperwork and make sure everything moves from one place to another like it’s supposed to. It’s just a handful of us working here. We usually grab tea from the little stall down the road when we get a break. Sometimes the electricity cuts out for an hour and we just have to wait it out in the heat. It’s definitely not a fancy office environment. We have some old metal filing cabinets and a computer that acts up whenever it gets too hot. People in the area know where to find us. We keep the main gates open during the day so the air flows through. If the rain is heavy, the road outside gets really muddy, but that’s just life here. We stay focused on the tasks we have. Nothing more to it.
