Time Kids

Time Kids is tucked away in Jamnagar on Darshan Appartment Street. We are quite close to the Pratap Vilas Palace, and the Sajal Shradha building is where we set everything up. It is a small place because we mostly deal with little children who are just starting out. The rooms are filled with basic stuff like plastic chairs, some colorful mats, and boxes of toys that usually end up all over the floor by noon. We spend most of our mornings helping the toddlers settle in while their parents head off to their own jobs in the 361001 area. It is a bit of a messy job sometimes, dealing with spills and the occasional tantrum, but that is just part of working with kids this age. We don't have any big corporate goals; we just want to make sure the kids are safe and have something to do while they are here. The street outside is usually quiet enough, which is good for the naps we try to get them to take. We have a few staff members who have been here a long time and know all the families by name. It feels more like a house than a big institution. We just take it one day at a time, making sure there is enough snack food and that the gate is locked properly. It’s just a simple spot for the neighborhood children to spend their morning hours together.
