Sunflower School

Sunflower School is tucked away in Patel Colony, specifically on P N Marg near Bedi Bunder Road in Jamnagar. It’s a residential neighborhood, so it feels very integrated into the daily life of the people living here. You’ll see houses right next to the school walls. The street outside can be a bit narrow, and it gets crowded when the school day starts or ends. It’s a bit of a maze getting here if you aren't from this part of Jamnagar. The building itself has a simple layout with classrooms arranged around a small central area. We don’t have massive grounds like some schools outside the city, but we make use of the space we have. There’s always a bit of noise from the nearby traffic on Bedi Bunder Road, but you get used to it after a while. Most of the staff has been here for years, and they recognize the parents by face. It’s not the kind of place where you need an appointment just to say hello. The rooms are painted in plain colors and have the usual school smell of old paper and floor cleaner. During the festivals, the kids do some decorations, which stays up for weeks until they start to peel off. It’s just a local school where families send their children because it’s close by and convenient. There’s no big mystery to how we run things, just daily classes and regular routines.
