Baby Buds Play School

You’ll find us over here at Baby Buds in Jamnagar, right near the Ayesha Masjid. It’s a small place, mostly because we only look after the little ones who aren't old enough for big school yet. It gets very noisy in the mornings. There’s always the sound of kids crying when they first get dropped off and then laughing once they start playing with the toys. Our rooms are filled with bright colors and drawings that aren't quite perfect, stuck all over the walls. Being near the mosque means it’s a familiar landmark for everyone in the neighborhood. We aren't a big chain or a franchise; we’re just a local play school. The staff here are mostly mothers from around the area who know how to handle a toddler’s tantrum. We spend a lot of time cleaning up spilled juice and making sure nobody trips over the building blocks. It’s tiring work, but it feels right. The parents are our neighbors, so they often linger at the gate to talk about their day. We don't have a fancy website or a glossy brochure. If you want to know about us, you just walk down the street and see the kids playing in the front area. It’s a very simple setup. We just try to keep the kids safe and happy for a few hours while their parents are busy with their own work. It is messy and loud, but that is a play school.
