This is our local center in Jamnagar, Gujarat, and you can find us at 702 in the Shapire building, which is in the A wing. A good landmark for us is that we are right behind where the Centurion Bank is located. We handle the local side of things for the university, mostly helping students with their paperwork, registrations, and general questions about their distance learning courses. The building is usually quite busy with other offices, and the elevator can be a bit slow during the peak hours of the morning and lunch. We’ve been here for a while now, and a lot of students from around the Jamnagar area stop by to drop off their assignments or pick up their study materials. It’s a very functional space, not a huge campus with trees and grass, but a practical office in a commercial building. We spend most of our time answering phones and checking through student records. It can get a bit loud with all the traffic on the street outside, but we’re used to it by now. We try to be as helpful as possible to anyone who walks through the door, whether they are new students or people finishing up their degrees. It’s a simple operation that keeps us busy from morning until evening. We just do our best to stay organized amidst all the folders and files.
