We are based out in Nandana, which is a small place near Bhatiya in the Kalyanpur area of Jamnagar district. Our office is easy to find if you are heading through that part of Gujarat. Being a development consultant means I spend a lot of time looking at local projects and trying to figure out the best way to move things forward for the people here. Most of our work involves talking to people about land, infrastructure, or local planning issues. It’s practical stuff that really matters to the folks living in this district. I started this because I saw a need for someone who understands the local geography and the rules that govern it. Some days involve a lot of driving out to different sites, and other days I’m just at my desk looking at maps and writing up reports. It’s a quiet life compared to the big cities, but there is always plenty to do. We don’t have a huge staff, just a few of us who know the area well. We try to be helpful and give sensible advice to anyone who asks. It’s about getting things done right for the community and staying busy.
